Battle of the Doms — the Finals!

Okay, let’s start with the battle between Jeremy and Kyle. As of this writing, Jeremy is ahead with 38 votes to 5. REALLY!!?? It’s so funny, because I was so afraid of how romance readers would react to Jeremy. But it seems I had nothing to worry about because you all clearly lurv Jeremy by a factor of 7 to 1. (I think. My math has never been that hot.) On the other hand, let’s be fair. Our young Kyle was but a dilettante wading into the waters of BDSM perversity, and he was dragging a bit of a hothead heroine to boot. Kyle will always have a special place in my heart (even if he is a big LOOOOSER!!)

On to the second battle, between best friends Dave and Ryan. They were actually neck and neck for a while, but as of this writing, Ryan is ahead, 22 to 13. It doesn’t surprise me that readers find it hard to choose between these two, because they are very similar. I think Ryan edges out for me too because of his whole charming origami thing. Crafty guys are the best. Oh yeah, and guys who can perform delicate, lifesaving brain surgery. 😉

Last but not least, we have the battle between Matthew of Mercy and Daniel of Owning Wednesday. Somehow I thought this would be a close one too, but Matthew is currently beating Daniel by a vote of 30-8.

So what does this tell me? Y’all love your emotionally fragile and perversely demanding doms! But you know what? So do I!

And you know what we have to do now…that’s right… Everyone vote now, and thanks for playing! This has been so fun.

  1. Well, crap, woman – now I’m going to have to get off the lazy arse and actually acquire these tales of yours. And I’ve earned my indolence, damn it!

    (Okay, so, perhaps not.)

Found you via FL thanks to some cute undies shots. Honest! And, yes, it’s quite the feat to snap your own bum.

    Where to begin ….

I miss the days of postings like this one. Back when people knew who I was and gave a rat’s, (not my real name, of course) and I had an entry in Wikipedia (gasp!) and all that rot, I used to love polling my readers for their responses regarding which character they liked most, which they wanted to see more of, what bored them to tears, who did they really want to see hook up —

Did I mention I don’t write romance? I’m transgressive, actually. Though, damned if I know how, there’s enough ‘gothic romance’ (read: D/s with darker themes) in the thing to warrant -some- nod in that genre, though, I’m still pretty solidly TF given the other thematic elements, characters and storylines.

Any rate, I wish you the best of the best with your own novels, and I’ll get my hands on some of them soon. They seem fun, after all, and appear to be doing well. Glad to hear it.

I’ll ramble off now. Soon as I know who Jeremy and Matthew are, I’ll be sure to return and comment more germanely.

  2. Oh, I hope you do pick up some of my books, Roulette! Your stuff sounds interesting. It is a big wide world out there in publishing now–room for everyone and pretty much every style possible. 😉
