Sorry so quiet…

I have been terrible about posting, but I’ve been busy writing, so hopefully you all will forgive me!

Cirque du Minuit is in edits and expected to be released in the first quarter of next year. Depending on whether people like it or not, it might become the first of a series.

After that, I’ve got a sequel to Club Mephisto coming out. But before then, I’ll be releasing a FREE book for you all called Molly’s Lips: Club Mephisto Retold. Remember Stephenie Meyer’s Midnight Sun, in which she started retelling Twilight from Edward’s point of view rather than Bella’s? Well, she never released it because someone leaked the first half, but I am planning to release mine free of charge. It will be the same story as Club Mephisto, only retold from Mephisto’s point of view. Check out the banging cover courtesy of Dara England!

Molly’s Lips: Club Mephisto Retold will show what was going on behind the scenes between Mephisto and Molly’s Master during her visit, and also things going on between Mephisto and Molly that she (and consequently, the reader) didn’t know about. It will also be a good lead-in for for the sequel following on its heels. The sequel, which doesn’t have a title yet, will have a slightly more romantic storyline than Club Mephisto, and I intend to write it so that those who chose not to read Club Mephisto can read the more romantic sequel as a stand-alone book.

It’s funny…Club Mephisto is by far my most popular book with my male readers. Several men have written to me to tell me how much they enjoy it, but no women have. I can understand that my usual romance readers might find Club Mephisto a little too “hardcore” and non-romantic for their taste but my hope is that the sequel will be more accessible to those readers. (Sorry guys!)

In light of these new Mephisto titles, I recently updated the files for the original Club Mephisto novella at Amazon and Barnes and Noble to include a working Table of Contents *blush*. Forgive me, I know the old file didn’t have one. I’m not sure if you can download the newer file by refreshing your archives…might be worth a try.

Last but not least, I just started today working on Mason Cooke’s story, what I think will be the last story in the Comfort series that started with Comfort Object. It doesn’t have a title yet either but when I have one I’ll let you know. Before I release that, I’m sure I’ll put out The Edge of the Earth. This book has a great alpha hero named Will but no BDSM, so it’s a small departure for me. But the emotion and hotness factor is still there, I promise!

So please stay tuned. I have lots of very diverse and hopefully sexy books headed your way in 2012! Thanks so much for your continued support, and for telling others about my books. If you visit a lot of reader blogs or book discussion forums, please feel free to drop my name and spread the word. πŸ™‚

  1. I must say that I enjoyed your more hardcore BDSM books like Mercy, Comfort Object and Club Mephisto. But I like all of the books that you have released. Can’t wait for the new ones to be published.

  2. Thanks, guys!

@Cynthia, I know, it’s hard to make everyone happy and I really want to but I can’t. It’s one of my biggest conflicts as a BDSM writer. I’m glad my readers understand when I kind of swing between the extremes. With that said, I think you will like Cirque du Minuit…it swings toward the harder side.

  3. I’m looking forward to many new books from you next year, Annabel! I hope you have a happy holiday season.

  4. I’m a huge fan of Mason from Odalisque, so I am pretty eager for his story! Just saying. πŸ™‚

  5. Hee hee, Kati, Mason has been yammering in my ear and I was forced to sit down and start putting some of his story on paper yesterday, even though I intended to do Mephisto and Molly first. What will probably happen is I’ll end up writing both of them concurrently, lol.

  6. I have to agree with Cynthia, while I love all of your books my favorites seems to be the ones with the hard line Dom. I’m not into BDSM what so ever in real life but love reading them.

Take if from a Harlequin Present loving reader since the 70’s that there are a lot of us out here that read the “vanilla stuff ” as well as the “napoleon stuff”.

I wait with the others for Cirque du Minuit as well as Molly’s Lips, I can just imagine what Mephisto’s point of view will be.

    Yeah for us

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to every one here

  7. I’m surprised more women didn’t write in about Club Mephisto. I loved it, and am looking forward to the sequel.

  8. I’m also surprised at the lack of love for Club Mephisto! I have read everything you’ve written and the story that’s stood out the most to me is Club Mephisto. It may not be my favorite- I heart Firebird – but Club Mephisto is the most memorable. Keep swinging between those extremes!

  9. Oh, I’m glad you enjoyed Club Mephisto. Although I have to say, I’m having SUCH a hard time writing the sequel. I had this vision in my head of Molly’s life down the line but making it happen is turning out to be mega difficult. I don’t want to “let down” the characters I guess, but at the same time, they’re making things really really confusing for me!!!

Molly’s Lips is ready to go, though, and I do love it very much. Even if I end up not managing to nail down the sequel I’ll put Molly’s Lips out there by summer. I know you Mephisto peeps will totally love it. I think I love it more than the original Club Mephisto book, but then I am always more fascinated by the male perspective for some reason.

    1. Ditto on the male perspective- it’s always a treat. I can’t wait for the sequel. Just bought C de Min- very very excited!
