Many thanks to Diana of The Forbidden Bookshelf for taking the time to read Cirque du Minuit and posting a review at her site, The Forbidden Bookshelf.

I love this site…they really understand kink and are great about hosting authors for special posts. If you didn’t read my fun “interview” there last week with Kelsey from Cirque du Minuit, then click here! It was silly and fun.
Here’s a little snippet from the review:
“CIRQUE DU MINUIT was amazing. Annabel Joseph has such a unique and passionate voice in the BDSM romance genre, and her latest novel about performers in a French circus is a perfect example. The story was beautifully written with strong, complex characters, rich descriptions of circus life behind the curtain, and some incredibly hot and kinky scenes. When I think of the circus, BDSM doesn’t exactly come to mind, but Annabel Joseph made it work flawlessly.”
Thanks so much, Diana! If you haven’t picked up Cirque du Minuit yet, please do!
And stay tuned…in the next few days I’ll be revealing the cover of my upcoming Club Mephisto sequel. It’s really lovely and I’m getting more excited about this book by the day.
Congratulations!!!
Congratulations on that great review and you are not the only one that gets more and more excited about the new Mephisto sequel!;-)
That’s great news. I have to agree with her I re-read Cirque three times already you really do have a unique voice when it comes to BDSM.
You seem to find the right balance in the raunchy, sadist with the loving Dom, I think in any other genre your alphas I would have a problem reading them and liking them, but with your Doms like Jeremy and Matthew and now Theo, love them and find all the bad bits just as sexy as the soft sides of them.
Thanks guys! I was thrilled with the review, because I really love both Kelsey and Theo. 🙂
“Cirque du Minuit gets a 5-star rating at The Forbidden Bookshelf!”
Of course it did.
But I have a bone to pick with you. Since I read it I haven’t been able to get into any other books! So I keep going back to my ereader and reading random passages of your book.
Write another one or something – I beg you!
Oh, you’re so kind, Basia Rose! And I actually have two books coming out in Late May, early June. One’s a free read too–so hang in there 🙂
