I hope you have some sweet plans for Valentines Day, whether or not you have a honey in your life at the moment. One thing I learned about Valentine’s this year is that it’s not celebrated on the same day in every part of the world. My friend Maryara told me that in Brazil, they celebrate Valentine’s Day, or Dia dos Namorados, on June 12. Dia dos Namorados translates more literally to “Day of the Enamored” which I think is the coolest thing ever. So you know what my Brazilian hero Rubio is going to be doing on June 12…lucky Petra!

Gee, Annabel, fancy meeting u on this hop lol. U know, since I live on the southern Gulf in Florida, there’s not a whole lot more I can ask for as far as romantic spots to be found bc we’ve got it all right here. My next best answer wld be “my imagination” bc I can come up w/some outrageous stuff!

The place I’d love to spend Valentine’s day is Prague! I just love its history and the Gothic / renaissance style!
Hmmm, I think I would chose Ireland..both hubby and I are Irish (well I’m moreso, but don’t tell him that)..and would LOVE LOVE LOVE to visit my roots, the beautiful history/castles *sighs*, so romantical…

We live in south Florida so the weather is great at this time of year. We will sit on our terrace with a drink and just relax.

Honestly…I’d say anywhere but here! I live in the Midwest and we have experienced some colddd weather- like -50 cold!!! But my dream V-day destination would be going anywhere in Europe 🙂
