Happy Tuesday morning everyone!
You might remember I was chosen to be a featured author this year at Authors After Dark 2013 in Savannah. I am SO EXCITED about this. As one of the “perks” of being a featured author, you get spotlighted in some really great blogs. Shari at The Delighted Reader book blog interviewed me recently about my writing, BDSM romance stuff, my latest release Disciplining the Duchess, and more. It was a great interview with fun questions so I hope you’ll check it out by clicking here! At The Delighted Reader they have reviews, giveaways, and all kinds of good stuff going on all the time.
If you don’t know about the Authors After Dark reader and author conference, click here to find out more info. If you’re near Savannah or can travel, and you can swing the registration fee of $255 and the hotel room, PLEASE GO! The date is August 15th to 18th, and in addition to yours truly, there will be tons of other amazing authors there.
I’d love to meet as many readers as possible. I’m one of the sponsors for the Elemental Ball (I’m part of the “Spirit” section), and I’m also participating in Ann Mayburn’s BDSM Bingo event which is going to be EPIC. I’ll be part of the ribbon scavenger hunt, and I’m also planning a meet and greet breakfast thingie one morning and a late night haunted Savannah tour too. I’ll be on two or three book discussion panels AND I plan to be selling and signing a selection of my books at the Book Signing event and also basically giving away lots of swag, pens, postcards, totebags and goodies for my readers.
So…stay tuned for more info as the date gets closer, and if you’re going please let me know so we can make plans to cross paths at some point and have some fun together. This is my first conference I’m attending as an author…actually my first conference I’m attending, period. I’m so excited about it.
In the meantime, please check out my Spotlight at The Delighted Reader and learn more about my writing and about Disciplining the Duchess if you haven’t had a chance to pick it up yet.
Come on, that is not talk too much!! I could read your interview for hours, it was so enlightening. I so understand what you mean about liking sadist heroes and how dificult it is to show the romantism behind it, I so get your guys, I think your books expands these hard limits of mine thats why I love them so much. But don’t get me wrong, if I was Nell, I would have dragged Jeremy’s body through his ankle like Achilles did with Hector to teatch him something about mythology… You just don’t mess with someone’s books!!! haha
But I do have for the scenes you cited a special esteem, Wed and Daniel’s Black and white and Court and Harmony’s office “interaction” are favorites of mine too.
Thanks Maryara. I know you like the bad boys and the intensity. So do I! I think that’s why we’re so alike. 🙂
Heyyyyy, how I like the interview, to see how you’re writing and and from where the ideas and scenes come. I’ve read my share in the genre, and (at least for me) you do it most… believable AND impressive/intense.
would soooo love to go to the AAD conference (for once a cool conference 🙂 ) and meet you there… unfortunately, wrong continent 😀
Thanks for reading the interview, Bridget! And thanks for your kind words about my books. I wish you could come to the conference too but that’s pretty far to go! Maybe someday I’ll get over to your continent. 🙂
