Club Mephisto is out!

I’m happy to announce that Club Mephisto is now out at Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com.

Club Mephisto features a new type of relationship for my stories–the 24/7 Master/slave relationship. I’ve also seen these types of relationships referred to as Owner/property relationships. Pure fantasy? Well, of course. One person can never legally “own” another person. Fortunately, with Molly and her Master being fictional characters, reality can be stretched somewhat…

And that is what takes place in Club Mephisto. An owned slavegirl, Molly, is given to another man to be cared for while her Master is out of town. This man, a BDSM club owner named Mephisto, is conscientious about his responsibility to care for another man’s slave, but also very strict and sometimes harsh. He goes about breaking Molly down, but not without a greater purpose, which is finally revealed at the end.

If you are not yet into 24/7 Master/slave or Owner/property type dynamics, you may find them as interesting and intense as I do, or you may decide they are not for you. Either way, it was a story that had slunk around in my fantasy life for a while, that I really wanted to bring into the light. It is my hope that the fantasy will titillate you as well, but please read the publisher’s note in the book description before you buy so there are no unpleasant surprises.

I happen to fantasize a lot about harder BDSM and more intense torments, and to be honest, this book was an outlet for those fantasies. If you are into softer BDSM this book might not work for you. If you are into more intense BDSM and the intense relationships that develop in those interactions, I hope you will check out Club Mephisto. I think it’s a great story and a great fantasy.

As for the future, I have a historical BDSM novel called Lily Mine coming out at Ellora’s Cave in February or so, and a re-release of Owning Wednesday coming from Loose Id on April 5th. So while Club Mephisto is something new and different, I am definitely still working on my first love–my BDSM romance stories.

Thanks everyone for your support!

  1. Will this be available through through other vendors in the future? I am a huge fan, and have all your books, I really want to read this, but unfortunately my e-reader isn’t Kindle or Nook.

  2. Hi Sheri. I might look into other platforms next month but for now it’s Kindle/Nook and a paperback soon to be out. Sorry! I wish there weren’t so many various e-reader platforms, and they were all interchangeable. It would be so much easier.

  3. Hi Sheri,
If you don’t have a Kindle or a Nook, both Amazon and B&N have free apps that allow you to read their books on other devices. Kindle & Nook have apps for Windows PC, Mac, Android, Blackberry, iPhone, and iPad. Kindle also has an app for the Windows Phone 7 and I’ve heard the iPad app also works on the iPod. I’ve used the Kindle for PC app and it’s a nice reading interface. The only catch is you can’t print it out. I’m not sure if the Nook for PC app allows you to print, I didn’t find any information that said you could. Both Kindle and Nook apps will save your place when you stop reading. Check the amazon or bn website for the app you’re looking for. Just search for Kindle for PC, etc. I hope this helps.

  4. hi Shauna! Thanks for that info. I was going to check out Smashwords too…I think they make it available in several formats. Then there’s Lulu.com. Lots of places to upload and sell self-published work. Just not sure how they all work yet and what formats each place offers, LOL. But strangely, 90% of my overall sales (even my traditionally published sales) come on Amazon. They are truly a giant.

  5. Hi, I just finished Club Mephisto today. I loved how I couldn’t predict how it was going to end. I’m curious about what happens with these characters in the future – any chance you’ll be writing more about them in the future?

  6. Hi Teresa…there is definitely always a chance. I was actually thinking of writing a companion book…the exact same story but in Mephisto’s voice and from Mephisto’s point of view instead of Molly’s. Not sure if people would be interested in that….

But yes, there is definitely more to tell about these characters a few years down the line. Isn’t there always, LOL?

  7. I’d LOVE to hear the story from Mephisto’s POV! I have to admit I thought he was an ass at one point during the book (the beating when he knew she wasn’t lying), but my feelings about him completely changed at the end when he took her to the park and talked to her in the kitchen. I actually cried for him.

  8. awww…thanks for commenting.

See, I actually based Mephisto on this really cool, intense dom I know who can be really brutal (because his subs like it) and yet is actually the most caring, intelligent person. The whole time I was writing I purposely stayed in Molly’s POVso the reader could take the whole journey through her eyes.

BUT at the same time I knew a lot of complex thought and conflict was going on inside Mephisto’s head too. Which is why I was thinking about the companion book. Well, it is definitely still a possibility. Maybe for the later part of this year. 🙂
