Happy Holidays and a Very Happy New Year!

I promise my “Snippet Sundays” will return after the holidays, but in the meantime I wanted to take a moment to wish happy holidays and Happy New Year to my readers.

I’ve been so touched by your support and by the friendships I’ve made over the past year. Whether we’ve exchanged posts here on the blog, or on Twitter or Facebook, or whether we’ve corresponded privately, it’s so meaningful to me because it makes all my work worthwhile.

This year has seemed like a dream to me, because people have taken the time to read my books and even recommend them to others. They’ve taken the time to think about them and share the things that touched them–or disturbed them. Readers have shared that I’ve brought new energy to their relationships or sex lives and you have no idea how happy that makes me feel! If I have brought you joy with my books this past year I’m so thankful to hear it. It’s the best gift I could get. All my life I dreamed of being a writer and by supporting my work with your hard earned dollars and your recommendations, you have made it possible for me to do this job I love.

I’ve always believed that part of our mission on earth is to put good energy into the world, to inspire and lift up others and in turn find inspiration in others. I hope I can continue to give you stories and characters that you love, that inspire and move you, and I hope you’ll continue to tell me your stories too. And I wish everyone a happy, healthy New Year and a 2013 full of great things!

I’ll be back posting on Jan 2nd about the Naughty New Years Bash where I’ll be giving away free ebooks to ten random commenters, along with bloghop-wide prizes! You can learn more about the Naughty New Years bloghop by clicking the banner on my right sidebar. 🙂

  1. Thank you so much for this past year of writing your wonderful stories. It has made this year so much enjoyable for me to trully come out in the BDSM community and if it were not writes like YOU I WOULD of never reconnected with my husband IN THE positive way that I am in . Have a Merry Christmas.

    1. yay, I’m glad to hear those positive outcomes of my books. And we are very Americanized now…we celebrate on Dec. 25. 🙂

  2. Happy Holidays and Happy 2013 to you also.

I hope that 2013 is even better than 2012 in your writing journey. You really do bring joy in your books to us who read them.

    Happy Holidays

    1. Hi maddie! Happy holidays to you too! Thanks for being such a faithful friend. 🙂

  3. Merry Christmas Annabel…Thanks for all the “education”. Thirty three yrs plus of marriage and your stories have added wonderful spice and inspiration. You are such a generous person to take so much time with your fans and I apprecitate your efforts so much. Hey, is this random enough? Plus I am soooo motivated by your red highlighted gift and free book teases.

    1. YAY! Yes it will be a great new year with lots of free books. That Skye Warren puts together some amazing blog hops. And it’s my pleasure to spend time with readers because they encourage me to keep working! Yay for added spice. 😉

  4. I’ve really enjoyed your books this year. I hope you have a wonderful christmas and new year. I keep reading you tweets fo about Waking Kiss. I’m really curious what it’s about.

    1. HI Shauna! Thanks for the good wishes. And about Waking Kiss!! For a while there I was flailing around trying to figure out what it was about myself! But I’m back on track now. It’s basically about two people who seem put together on the surface but are both pretty damaged underneath. They’re also very different…and they get together and sparks fly, emotions explode, worlds crumble. You know, basic relationship trauma. But of course there will be a happily ever after. I’m determined to save this story because if I can do what I envision I think it will be pretty good. 🙂

  5. Hi Annabel. have been reading your books and your posts on this blog and those on Kinky Ever After for the last year and just wanted to let you know how much I have enjoyed them all. I have loved all of your books I have read to date, but Mercy and Comfort Object have been my favourite so far – I have truly lusted after the male leads! I have introduced my sister to your books and she has also become a fan. For me your novels just strike the right balance between love, lust and kink. I love the paths you dare to tread. Command Performance ready to read on my Kindle and I will be working my way through your new publications and your backlist in 2013. Good luck with your publishing endeavours.

    1. Hi Tina! It was wonderful to wake up to this message to begin my new year! Hopefully I’ll keep those great male leads coming. I do love the complexity that kink brings to relationships so I’m doing my dream job writing these BDSM romances. Stay tuned for more in 2013. 🙂 And thanks for stopping by to comment because it encourages me to keep going when the writing gets tough!

  6. Is too late to wish a happy new year?? I hope you’ve had great holidays cause you’re the sweest person ever and your books made my 2012 a little sweeter too. So many thanks for share your talent, honey, and i wish all the best ( and lots of inspiration too).

    1. No, it is not too late! And I have big hugs for you Maryara…I got a list of my top five commenters on my blog last year and you were on there TWICE. HAHAHAH! Also Maddie, Ingrid, and Jenny Meyers. All my blog girls are very special to me. Hope you have a year as wonderful as you. 🙂
