Ooooh, I am way excited. Apparently someone nominated my book Odalisque for an NLA award in fiction. Past recipients of this award have included Anneke Jacob, Jack Rinella, Cecilia Tan, Claire Thompson, and many other excellent writers. It would be so thrilling to win but I’m honored just to be nominated!

Truly hope you win this book. Odalisque is a true masterpiece which left me thinking about it for weeks afterwards. So want you to return to this setting in the future.
Thank you so much, Laura. After that terrible review at Dear Author I was feeling kind of down about this book, but so many people have written to me to tell me how much it affected them. I do hope it wins but even if it doesn’t I’m glad it has resonated with so many. And I’m not ruling out another Odalisque book!
