  1. Oh I just downloaded it. Love both the old and the new cover. And I love the background you have on your site now. And I DO KNOW where it is from 😉

Will let you know how much I liked it. With your stuff I’d never say “IF” I liked it…

  2. Really pretty (OK, I’d say more erotic) cover. I really like it. Compared to the rather dark covers I’m used to from Loose ID I like this one. This simplicity of the model in her stockings against white is striking. It definitely stands out against the other title being released this week. 🙂

  3. Last I checked, Loose ID makes amazon wait 2 to 3 months to get their books. BUT you can buy it now from Loose ID in prc format which IS kindle format without the DRM (protections so no one but you can read the book). To get it on your kindle you can either e-mail it to your kindle address OR my preference directly copy it to your Kindle’s documents folder. If you pull the wire out of your kindle charger its a usb plug that will go directly into your computer. (You might know this already, but someone showed me so I figured I’d share). I hope this helps.

  4. Thanks Shauna! Yes, the .prc format from Loose Id will work on a Kindle. They have been faster about getting the books onto Amazon also…it might just be two to three weeks wait. I know a lot of readers prefer to buy directly from Amazon.

  5. I hope this doesn’t seem like a rude question, but which way works out better for the author? Buying direct from Loose ID or Amazon?

I actually only have kindle on my phone, but I use it a lot and really love it. Wondering if I get the prc format from Loose ID if I can transfer it to my phone?

  6. Hi AJ! That’s not rude at all. In general, authors always make more when you buy directly from the publisher. With that said, I wish for readers to buy in whatever way is most convenient for them. I know that Loose Id’s .prc is the same as buying a Kindle version, so you should be able to do the same things with the .prc as you would any book you buy from Amazon.

Plus, if Shauna is correct, the Loose Id .prc has no DRM to fret with? All my self pubbed books are also DRM-free.

  7. Thank you very much for your response! Mercy is one of my favorite books, so I am definitely looking forward to getting my hands on OW one way or another!

  8. HI Annabel,
Wondering if Lily Mine is still going to be released soon? I really enjoy your work and can’t wait for some of these “coming soon” to finally get here.

    1. Lily Mine will probably be released this fall. I’ve got the rights back from Ellora’s Cave so I’m in the process now of getting some cover art and editing and formatting done for release thru my Scarlet Rose Press line.

The other two “in progress” books are still pretty rough. They will probably not come out until 2012. Wish I could write faster!

  9. Will Owning Wednesday be released in book form?

I’m still waiting for Comfort Object (I do have the E-book version) but would love it in paperback too.

Plus on your twitter page I see you mention another Dom like Matthew Norris and I can not wait to read it. Not sure what it is with the harsh stern nasty Doms that do it for me, but wow you do make it work.

    1. Hi Maddie. I’m not sure if Owning Wednesday will be released in print form or not. That is up to Loose Id. You will know within the year whether they will release it in paperback.

As for Comfort Object, I get the rights back in late October, and I do plan to finally do a paperback. So many people have asked me! It will have a new cover but otherwise it will be the same book you know and love. You may be able to get that paperback for Christmas!

And I will keep working on that new story. I’m having trouble coming up for a name for my newest hardass Dom. He’s French. Any suggestions??

  10. thanks for the info Owning Wednesday (can’t wait to read it) and I’m so happy about Comfort Object, being out for Christmas in paperback.

As for Lily Mine I thought as much because I saw the Coming Soon cover at Ellora’s Cave then it was gone when I checked again. But will be waiting for the Scarlet Rose Press line release.

As for suggestions for French names here you go.

    Have a great day
