Seven Sentence Sunday – The Edge of the Earth

Hi everyone! Thanks for stopping in. This is actually the vacation edition of SSS, since we’re heading home from the St. Augustine area today. Love St. Augustine, it’s a wonderful historical place and they do great ghost tours! They also have clean uncrowded beaches. Go there, you’ll love it.

Without further ado, here are seven sentences from my upcoming vanilla book, The Edge of the Earth.

“Get in,” he said, nodding at the passenger side.

     “No.”

They faced off, an infuriated Briton and Charlotte Rowe, who just wanted what she’d come for.

“You have to go home,” he said gruffly. She could tell he was trying to convince himself.

     “You want me to stay.”

     “That doesn’t matter.”

Yes, these two go at it a lot in the book, but that’s only because the sexual tension is so HAWT. If you haven’t heard about Molly Joseph yet, that’s the name under which I write the stories that don’t have a BDSM component. I KNOW, can you believe I come up with stories that don’t have a BDSM component? But it happens. You can see Molly’s website here (click!) and here’s the cover for the upcoming book. I’ll be sure to let everyone know when it comes out!

  1. I didn’t notice the new last name when you tweeted a couple of weeks ago until I clicked back onto Joseph site.

I hope this means we will be getting lots of books on either end (is that a pun?) This one sounds exciting as well even if it doesn’t include whips, paddles and a pink ass.

I do wonder if you will ever venture into the paranormal genre?

  2. I suppose you can never say never! I do enjoy reading paranormal so maybe one day I’ll take a stab at it. 🙂

  3. I can only imagine and salivate with what you could do with a Vampire or Lyken in a BDSM storyline ..

    1. LOL. PRESSURE!! 😉 I do love vampires, haven’t read a lot of Lykan books except in my writers group. Actually my writers group has a ton of paranormal romance writers in it. As for vampires, I have to admit I loved the Twilight series. I’m not ashamed to admit it! I also LOVED Deborah Harkness’s A Discovery of Witches. I have Shadow of Night on my Kindle waiting to be read but I’m making myself get these books edited first.

      1. For a lycan book if you haven’t read it already is Kresley Cole’s A Hunger Like No Other. Lachlain MacRieve is one sexy beast.

      2. I will have to check that out! I’ve heard Kresley Cole is really great!

  4. Molly is a great name for a vanilla writer, in my language- portuguese-, it reminds soft or easy. Well, sort of anyway. But anyway, if Annabell wrote a paranormal book would be my first one since Harry potter in this genre. Hahaha

    1. Oh, I never knew that about “Molly”! Thanks for telling me. I love learning those interesting kinds of facts. I love having readers who speak Portuguese!! That’s amazing to me, that my books are being read in so many parts of the world. I’m so glad you’re one of my readers. 🙂

      1. Oh, thank you, the pleasure of the reading is all mine! If one day a brazilian character comes to your mind and you need some help with his slangs just call me that I’ll help ya hahaha. You would be probably the first english speaking romance author who would use portuguese words instead of spanish ones for brasilian people.

  5. Off to update the calendar of upcoming releases. I had it listed, but under Annabel. I buy over 50 books a month so I have tried to develop some kind of a system to my wish list. There are a handful of authors like yourself who have decided to self publish for one reason or another who I really admire and I want to support but trying to keep up with your release dates when I can’t use the handy dandy pre-order button has got me in a panic I am going to mess up and miss one of your terriffic books. I’ve been spoiled rotten by the Internet and ebook devices, what can I say.

    1. Oh man, I’m glad you have a system! I would hate if you missed one too! I know it’s hard to keep track. I do all the notifications I can when I put a book out but I’ll still have readers contact me a few weeks later and say “OMG! I didn’t know you had a new book out!!” LOL.
